Get adequate rest is key if we seek to lead a healthy life, because the effects do not simply translate to keep us energized, but the benefits of good sleep impact on many aspects of life.

  • Lower risk of weight gain, because lack of sleep is associated with greater release of hormones that stimulate appetite and lower levels of hormones or peptides that cause the feeling of fullness.

  • Better cardiovascular health due to the fact that sleeping well reduces the uncontrolled blood pressure and promotes good blood circulation in the body.

  • Better system of defenses or what is the same, greater strength in the immune system that benefits from sleeping well, because during the break recovery and recharging of energy to work well in your fight against diseases occurs.

  • Lower risk of depression and better mood, because insufficient rest or poor quality translates into an alteration of the biological rhythm and a state of melancholy that alters our emotional responses.

  • Greater physical and intellectual performance, as we will have a lucid and rested brain as well as recovered muscles and good oxygenation of each part of the body.
