Mopeds are back!!! These are the coolest mopeds I've ever seen!

So I moved out of the city, and I need a way to get around these dirt roads, and I came across these, and thought I would share.

How much Does it cost?

CTY – $2500
RCR – $3500

No license required?

In most states, both the the RCR and CTY do not require an additional motorcycle license. The bikes are limited to 750 watts, or an equivalency of 125cc and 50cc, respectively, which disqualifies them from official classification as motorcycles. Can I pedal ONYX motorbikes?
Should you run out of battery, all ONYX motorbikes can be ridden as standard bicycles.

What if I run out of batteries?
If you run out of batteries, you can always pedal home.

How fast are the bikes?
At top speed, the CTY can reach 30 mph with a maximum 25 mile range. CTY riders can also choose to engage “economy mode” to limit the bike’s speed to 20 mph. The RCR reaches 60 mph at top speed with a maximum 75 mile range.

How far can it go?
In Economy Mode and cruising at 20 mph on a bicycle path, the CTY can travel up to 25 miles, and the RCR can travel up to 75 miles on a single charge and without the need to pedal.

How do I charge it?
The ONYX charger plugs into any standard wall outlet. You may choose to charge directly from your bike or can remove the bike’s batteries to charge separately. The CTY requires two hours or less to reach full charge. The RCR requires four hours or less to reach full charge. Each battery lasts an estimated 800 to 1000 charges before it needs to be replaced, which equates to 60,000 to 75000 miles for the RCR and 20,000 to 25,000 miles for the CTY.
