Cobra Kai is the real deal

'Strike First, Strike Hard, No Mercy' is not only Cobra Kai dojo slogan from 1984 movie "The Karate Kid", but also the best way to describe new "YouTube Red" original show Cobra Kai which takes places 34 years later after the events of the movie "The Karate Kid". Because it strikes you right from the get-go hard and with no mercy by getting you hooked and captivated and by the time it's over you won't believe that this show could ever turn out this good.

For people who have seen the movie, this show is everything you want it to be and more. It has all the previous actors, and it captures the movie theme and soul so perfectly that you will be kept wondering how did they ever managed to pull this off.

But let me tell you when I first heard about this show I was worried that it would be another washed up attempt to capitalise on 80s nostalgia and would ruin such an iconic franchise. But when I saw the trailer, and the first reviews started rolling in, I gave it a chance and boy oh boy did it blew me away.

As of now, this show has 9.2 rating on "IMDB" and 81% on rotten tomato. This show truly surprised everyone, but don't take my word for it about how good this show is.
