Get set for entrepreneurship

Global financial crisis is fueling, job market is shrinking, competition is mounting high & high in present time. So for the young & educated people, very few options are available to take on for their career & livelihood. But in recent times, entrepreneurship is a much talked word among the qualified people especially among technically qualified people as a career option. Central as well as state government are coming up with different schemes to help out the people, who are interested to take up entrepreneurship. Many teaching institutes are also coming up with programmes related to entrepreneurship to equip the students with adequate knowledge, skill & capability.
XLRI, the pioneer management teaching institute also recently announced to go for a separate infrastructure for the Entrepreneurship Development Centre (EDC). XLRI established its EDC in 2007 to hone the entrepreneurial skills of the students. In present scenario it is very much necessary for a management student to develop entrepreneural skills, so that he can encash his skill & go for his own business rather than seeking job at Multi National Companies (MNCs).
If we analyse the success story of some business tycoons, we find that some entrepreneurs are born & some are made by inculcating special skills. In present scenario the category of born entrepreneurs is shrinking & the later is prospering due to aggressively competitive market, wide range of flexible choice of consumers & ever changing financial situations. The people who are equipped with specialized entrepreneurship skills oriented qualifications are dealing with above situations befittingly & coming out flying colours.
There was time, when white collar job options were in abundance in Arunachal. But with the access of education & facilities, lot of qualified people are now in the huge list of service line. So the only option out is to have entrepreneurial skills adequately & go for small & medium business and other self-entrepreneurial ventures. There are a vast & lucrative opportunities in Textiles, Tourism, Herbal & Technical Education in our state in terms of entrepreneurial activities, which can be tapped well by the young & qualified people of the state to become first generation successful entrepreneurs.
