Today I see there were a difference in the trend, Bitcoin went down and Steem went up, that was a nice change from the norm as you have rightly described it.
I agree, the bidbots, is bad for Steem as people are buying votes and by implication also reputation, that should have been earned by good content.

Hi @rynow. It's Right! Steem went up. Pleasantly surprised but it is a drop of water in the desert!
And now I see it is diving down again!! Just when I thought there were some light in the tunnel!!
