Identifying the EOS Contribution Period and Claiming Your Tokens

in #eos-help6 years ago

Oh no, you've forgotten when you contributed to the ICO and you need to get all your EOS tokens prior to the IQ airdrop, WHAT AM I GONNA DOOOO?

Have no fear, it's easy. Whatever you do, DO NOT USE CLAIM ALL. Please contact MEW and MyCrypto on their social media to get that instruction removed!!!

We start with EOSchart.com and use their query on the right hand side to get a list of the periods in which we contributed.

Then we use the trusty 'Contracts' page on MEW or MyCrypto to access the contract and use the 'claim' function.

NOT 'claimAll' I REPEAT, NOT 'claimAll'!!!!!!!!!

We enter the 'Day' as the period info we found on EOSchart, click 'Write' and confirm through the transaction. Once the transaction is successful on Etherscan, you should have your EOS tokens in the requisite wallet.

Let me know if you have any questions. Cheers!

Very nice addition to the EOS Token video tutorial library ;-)

This is great as it fills in the other side of the process for people buying directly from the ICO, as opposed to the aftermarket.

Thanks, and yeah, really need to get MEW/MyCrpyto to change the instructions as well. Had 3 to 4 people yesterday in the chat that burned between 20-50 USD in gas trying to follow instructions.

VERY BUENO FRIEND.

Nice I also trade a small portion of EOS on Binance trying to increase my stack as much as possible before June 1st if you wish to do the same please use my affiliate link
