Many of our friends have asked us if we were a bit depressed about the failure to run for the 21 BPs(block producers). And what plans we will have in the future.

To be honest, there is a little bit depressed, but more confidence for the future.

Before launch of EOS mainnet, we actively anticipated into the competition, and entered the candidate list of global EOS BPs. We strongly desired to running into the 21 BPs, but we didn’t make it, defeated with a narrow margin. Definitely we were depressed because we failed to live up to expectations of the fans of EOSUnion.

Meanwhile, we are full of confidence about the future because we see more possibilities. Firstly, node rankings, generated by dynamic voting, are determined by the recognition degree of the community to nodes, so the selection of voting will constantly change. Secondly, the early voting put more emphasis on the influence of nodes. So the failure to run into the 21 BPs didn’t mean we have failed, it just meant that we haven’t done the best for the time being. Because in the long run, it is necessary to see how much a node contributes to EOS. The more a node contributes to EOS, the more likely it will impress voters, and higher the ranking will be.

DAPP

Although we failed in running into the 21 BPs, we had achieved great results in incubating DAPPs which is based on EOS, among which TokenPocket is the best.

TokenPocket is a general digital wallet which supports for multiple currencies, multiple bottom and cross-chain trade. It satisfies users two basic demand for wallet, including asset security protection and convenient payment. After launch of EOS mainnet, it rapidly became the biggest wallet of EOS as well as the first wallet which support RAM trade.

In addition, EOSUnion strongly supported the establishment of the local EOS communities, and made unremitting efforts to maintain the stability and security of communities.

We cleraly remember this story: a community member who was called "Hongchen" suffered from stolen accident, which made him lost 15,000 EOS. After hearing this stolen accident, Li Ping, one of our team founders, organized other members of EOS communities to provide him with a variety of support, which helped him successfully recover his stolen assets. After this event, he even wrote a thank-you note to express his gratitude.

Not only our EOSUnion, but also our incubating project TokenPocket has spared no effort in the construction of EOS community, which also solved many problems for users.

Whether becoming the full block producer or the back-up node, our contribution to EOS is obvious and indelible to all. Through our experience and ability, we are trying to build a community where people can live in peace and security.

With the development of EOS, our team is also growing rapidly——not only did we move to a new office but also recruited many excellent new employees to join the team in this July.
