EOSBet Casino dice game beta testing in progress!
Today I am giving a little write up about EOSBet Casino’s first game to be released on the EOS network. EOSBet Casino, previously EtherumBet Casino, used to run on the Etherum network but unfortunately it was too slow to operate the games smoothly so now they have switched to EOS.
The game I have been testing is a simple dice game with a sleek user interface. You connect via Scatter making it very simple to use as there’s no need to create a new account. The main aim of the game is to select a number between 1 and 100 via a sliding bar, you then roll a metaphorical dice with many sides (I think of it more as spinning a roulette wheel) and if the number on the dice is below the number you selected then you win! If the number on the dice is higher then unfortunately you lose. The higher the number you choose the lower the payout as the chances of winning are higher – for example selecting 2 is a 98x pay-out while selecting 96 is a 1.03x pay-out.
Also, for a short while, every time you bet 1x EOS you will get 1x EOSBet Casino token airdropped to your account regardless of whether you win or not. These EOSBet Casino tokens earn dividends from EOSBet Casino for life. This will be the case until 8.8 million tokens have been airdropped.
On Saturday I was trialling the dice game with a number of others on the Jungle Test Net to test for bugs and give feedback on the user interface. We were all given 1,000 faux EOS to have a play around with. The first round of testing was a big success – a few bugs were ironed out and lots of great ideas were put forward to the team on their EOSBet Casino beta testing channel on Telegram (although we did crash the Jungle Test Net for a period of time due to its popularity).

The dice game has now gone live on EOS Main Net although it is still in beta testing. It has been a massive hit so much so that they got rate limited off several BPs! They are currently looking into continuous switching of endpoints and/or spinning up their own main net node which should help.
Overall I am very impressed with the new game and I think it will be a big hit. I am excited to see what games will be out next!
