The whole world is excitedly waiting for its Mainnet to go live but its date can't be predicted with 100% certainty as no one knows when will it happen. But quite reasonably, it can be said that it's gonna happen soon.

Perhaps you're aware of the 4 phases that need to be successfully completed for EOS Mainnet to go live:

1. Verify Snapshot & Boot: Snapshot taken and verified by EMLG and third parties. Boot process initiated.
2. Testing: Allow time for EMLG and third parties to verify that the tokens have been loaded according to the snapshot file, and that the software performs well.
3. Enable: Release joint statement from Block Producer community that it is safe to import private keys and vote. Voting begins.
4. Activation — Declare the EOS Mainnet active.

Currently, we are waiting for the Joint statement from BP community. After that token holders can import their private keys and participate in voting to elect 21 BP.

EOS Block Producers Candidates meet every day on a group video call and vote on whether or not the Mainnet will be ready to launch the following day. The vote is cast as GO or NOT GO.

Once the GO vote is caste, it should be live 12 hours later. Voting phase won't take too much time as in my opinion, getting minimum 15% tokens to vote should be a mere formality as there are several whales holding a large volume of tokens.

The tentative launch is now pushed to 13:00 UTC Friday, the vote for GO or NO GO will be at 01:00 UTC Friday
