EOSphere - WAX Guild Showcase Update
As a Standby Guild on the WAX Protocol Network we aim to support and promote the WAX platform demonstrated through the WAX Guild Candidate Showcase.
Much has happened over the last month and we wanted to give you a brief update on what we have been up to.
Our showcase submission highlighted 3 projects or focus areas in particular.
Infrastructure / Community / Development
Infrastructure
Of course EOSphere have already invested in an Enterprise class Geographically diverse Data Centre and have the appropriate high performance hardware and technical expertise to accomplish running a solid WAX Protocol production offering.
In saying that, in preparation for the WAX testnet dApps migration to the mainnet we have recently beefed up our API services and load balancers to be able to handle a high amount of concurrent client requests as well as deploying a full Elastic Search History Solution using Hyperion from EOS RIO.
History services are used by dApps and block explorers for queryable transaction history of user accounts and contracts.
Community
In September we successfully ran a WAX Australia Tour with WAX Strategic Advisor Malcolm CasSelle. We hosted and coordinated events in Sydney, Perth and Melbourne in order to introduce the Australian blockchain community to WAX.
All in all the tour was a great success with us hopefully growing the community that much more, you can watch the three presentations here: Sydney, Perth, Melbourne
EOSphere are also very active in the Social Media space especially in the EOSIO Community, we use our platform to educate and distribute WAX updates and announcements. Just recently we crossed the 5,000 Twitter Followers Threshold, which we are super excited about!
Development
The EOSphere {/dev} Team are currently working on a Proof of Concept for a large Australian Corporate as well as dApp maintenance on a few other projects. We are incredibly keen to start building on WAX and are anticipating the launch of the WAX Worker Proposal System (WPS) which we will most certainly take advantage of.
