I note Epstein doesn't live as a mere millionaire, nor not mix with a flock of billionaires. I have said before that money is not real wealth: it is a veil behind which real wealth is hidden. Given the charges now levied on him, and photos of him with very wealthy folks and young women, it seems to me his real wealth would best be described on a balance sheet as goodwill.

The kind of goodwill you get from having compromising evidence of sex crimes by billionaires. Goodwill has a monetary value, and this value is notoriously malleable on balance sheets, depending on who is assigning the value and for what purpose. Given the company he keeps, I reckon the value of the goodwill he kept in the safe labeled 'young XXX' + 'Mr. XXXX' is - or was - in the billions of dollars.
