Our Daily Activities at Work

Today I want to share with you about our activities at the radiology installation of Teungku Chik Ditiro Sigli Aceh Hospital. In the morning our activities are usually relaxed because patients from the polyclinic and patients from the inpatient room have not arrived, only serving patients from the emergency room.

Usually in the morning we provide time to discuss in the relaxed atmosphere of fellow with radiographers, administrative staff and radiologists. The main topics in our discussion were evaluations of the services we have provided in the Radiology installation, and the steps that we must take to improve services to patients. Sometimes we also discuss current issues ranging from internal problems at radiology installations, internal problems at the hospital and general issues that are more trending to talk about, whether it's political issues, economic issues or social issues.

Towards 10.00 AM, our activities are usually busy at the radiology installation. In the administration section, there are already patients who register. In the General X-Ray section, patients have to queue for radiographic examination. In the Ultrasound section there are also many patients, either from the polyclinic or from hospitalization. In the CT Scan section which is where I spend my daily time there are already a number of patients.

Towards 02.00 PM, our activities began to quiet, only occasionally came the patient to do radiographic examination. And also the morning shift has finished working time, changing with the afternoon shift. While those of us who are in Ultrasound and CT Scan are still continuing activities until 04.45 PM.
