Clicked #63: The Strange place !!!

The barren mountains of Spiti had many forms and types.
Sometimes the vastness of never ending hills were making us crazy and another time illusions created by sandiunes left us awe-struck.
Spiti is different and mysterious. It is full of surprises. Now have a look at this photograph, can you make me understand, what type of geographic phenomenon is this?
One single river was divided into multiple channels of water by the sand and hence forming the result. It was spread for miles. It looked like a land not from the earth but from some other strange place.
The second amazing phenomenon were these unexplainably formed triangular sand dunes on the banks of river. With every turn they got bigger and dense. Till now I have no clue that how were they standing at the edge of those mountains.
Now have a look at these rocks. These weird rocks on mountains make this place different from the other places of Spiti Valley. As it was untouched it is still unknown land to most of the travellers around the World. These rocks were the best example of how powerful the nature is.
We took a break in between to enjoy and feel this strange yet beautiful art of nature. This place was noticably quite. We didn't came across any vehicle or village for several miles. Only a background music was playing in car and no one else made a sound. That place was hypnotising with its mesmerising beauty as it is still untouched.
Its been almost a month now, but still I feel the ambiance of the place that was horrifyingly beautiful.
I am afraid that in coming years the beauty of this place will degrade as the number of tourists are increasing year by year who makes the place dirty by throwing waste and plastic bags here.
It is my humble request to everyone, where ever you go please feel it your responsibility to keep the place clean or there will be no place left on this earth that we will call "Heaven".

not exactly I got rock slides, but the area is quite prone to landslides in monsoons .
