The city beautiful Chandigarh is known for its beautiful gardens but their is this lesser known garden named as "The Palm Garden".

The garden is made on 19.50 acres of land with an artificial lake which now a days is kept dry on one side and beautiful infrastructure on other side.
The garden is theme based and particularly famous for its more than 50 varieties of palms and a special cycling track over an “adventurous” area.
Grassy tracks have been made for the people who loves cycling.

As the lake is kept dry for now, so we do not visit that corner of the garden and capturd the other part where interesting dome like infrastructure is made.
People usaully go on the top of the building and enjoy the view from their.

It is a great place to sit in the evening and witness the beautiful sunset.
It is said the light arrangments are beautifully done in the garden which makes the evening and night time more beautiful.

The best thing I like about this garden personally is that it is less crowded as compared to all other gardens in Chandigarh where sometimes you can get pushed by the crowd but in Palm garden, one can visit here and can spend some peaceful hours by himself here.

This lake has one more significance. People from different state can continue to celebrate their festivals which Include water rituals like Chhat puja for the people from Bihar.
This lake have been officially declared by the administration as the place for religious worship and activities.
