Taxi driver...A short poem

Oh taxi driver,

honking, ponking and honing in thick traffic

hasty, time conscious, impatient because time is money

Oh taxi driver,

with engines as old as he is, puffing, smoking, crying with the sound of thunder screeching tires the sound of ten sirens

Oh taxi driver,

speeding, bumping,twisting through corners and alleys

cursing, swearing, praying all at once

Oh taxi driver

sweaty, puffy, hungry and on edge

hustle to put food on the table as a man for the family

God bless your hustle Oh taxi driver
