New Helpless Adventure! - Freewrite Prompt: Helpless

At some point in life we face helpless situations. It could be at work, it could be at home, or maybe it could be with people.

Let me share my new helpless journey that I have lately which is putting my elder daughter - En Na to sleep! This little girl had been giving her parents difficult time to sleep and you will feel helpless because whatever you do, she just wouldn't wanna go to sleep - willingly.

So how it goes is every night in bed with the lights already off, she will have many demands - asking for toys, asking for songs, asking for milk (again!) after drinking, asking for hugs and pats. Even if all those are given, she will still have stuffs to demand for. End up both parents will just be helpless and sleep and ignore her.

She will either see us ignoring her demands and proceed to sleep or sometimes just cry and at times yell so that we give her attention.

So yea, the parents basically are having helpless nights for the past weeks. Hope this will end as early as possible...
