Fenomena Halo matahari di Wilayah Aceh.
Pagi ini di beberapa wilayah di Aceh yaitu Wilayah Banda Aceh, Aceh Besar, Aceh Tengah dan Daerah Tanjung Balai, terlihat matahari di keliling lingkaran cahaya berkilau. Fenomena ini sering disebut dengan peristiwa Halo matahari atau juga sering disebut dengan Nimbus atau Glaliore.
Halo matahari juga sering terjadi karena refleksi sinar matahari yang di biaskan melalui kristal es atau awan Cirrus yang berbentuk prisma atau batang. Akibat dari pembiasan tersebut menyebabkan sinar matahari terpecah menjadi beberapa warna yang menyerupai cincin dengan warna seperti pelangi dan mengelilingi matahari.
Fenomena Halo memang sangat jarang terjadi di daerah tropis, namun peristiwa ini sering terjadi di daerah Eropa.
