Don't take friendships and connections for granted

Hi steemians.
Hope we had a good day and o yes thank God it's Friday. I understand how we all look forward to weekends.

Today I will be sharing with us something that cut across every sphere anf facets of life. It affects each and everyone of us in one way or the other and that is "friendship and connections". Whether it's at our office, school, place of residence, church, etc., we all definitely would meet people there that will affect our lives positively and become a big part of our lives.

First we meet as strangers and then gradually we get to know each other and get connectedLink

But another thing is change is constant in life. We will graduate or change schools, we would relocate, change jobs, get married, etc but whatever change life brings your way never forget the beautiful people that life brought your way. Out of sight shouldn't be the same as out of mind. Always remember those people and value the friendship and connections. Don't think that because you are leaving that sphere, you would not be needing those people any longer, you know you never can tell what life will bring your way in the future. As a matter of fact, it's a small world out there.

Going back memory lane in NYSC orientation camp, I remember the beautiful people I met there. Personally for me NYSC camp is very horrible but the people I met there made my stay comfortable and memorable. Though we have left camp and we have all been posted to different local government, we still reach out to one another and I am glad to have this wonderful people in my life .

So my advice to everyone one is if there is any old friend or colleague you haven't reached out to in a long while. Pick up your phone and give them a call. If you are not able to reach them, go on social media and search for them.
Don't throw away a ladder because you are up, you never can tell when you would need that same ladder again.
