It pays to listen well even when you disagree with the topic of discourse.
Anyone who desires true success must learn to listen well. He should be able to listen...truly listen...to understand what the discourse is all about. Attentive listening shouldn't just be about constructing clever comments and comebacks. It should be able to help you understand the mood of the moment and its ills so that you are able to make an informed decision.
Listen, even if you disagree with what’s being said, especially if you disagree. Listen with respect, with rapt interest, with your curiosity at full throttle.
When you listen with full focus, you will gain priceless insights. Again, you will not only benefit from the experiences, but also from the mistakes, the triumphs of others. This is what most people don't realise and could have been contributing in them being held back to experience true success.
When you do listen, don't try to prove what you know before the other person(s). Rather, you should seek to improve and increase your knowledge of what you already know and understand via listening well, and not just for listening sake.
Listen, truly pay attention, and continually inject new richness into your relationships. Listen, and multiply the value of your skills, your experience, your wisdom and resources.
Listen with targets to learn, okay. When you listen well, you bond well. And when you bond well, you grow in wisdom and companion while also genuinely increasing the goodness in life. Finally, let me remind you that it pays to listen well. Because virtue of that, you will build a life and a world, in which all can live well and thrive so healthily.

Listening is great ability in relationships. But the greatest ability is paying attention :-). When you are with your friend, girlfriend or business partner and you are paying attention, than you are really with him/her. Because when you are not paying attention and playing games, messaging, thinking about another things, it´s like you are in another world and you are not with your partner...
