Something somebody recommends a dapps to you, which at first sight is great but it is hard to find use case for it. But suddenly it dawns to you how the tool can be a great addition to the tool set I am using.

Steemdetective

Steemdetective does allow you to have a detailed look at some info at the steem blockchain.
From their website: Steemdetective is a site which allows you to download all your transactions made on the Steem blockchain and process them.
For the moment the max number of transaction which for a user can be downloaded is capped at 100K.

MagicDice

I have been playing some Magic Dice and I am often asked I am making a profit or not.
Steemdetective can be used to get this answer!

Go the to the website of steemdetictive and fill in your user name at the upper left corner!

And click on the red button. A few moments later you will see how many transaction your account has made on the steem blockchain. And click on Ok.

For me this is around 72128.

The next thing is to click on the tables in the left menu.

Next select transfer from the table list.

And download the selected data.

Now you have all the data about Steem and SBD transfer in an excel sheet.
Now it is time to add a filter to the excel sheet.

Outgoing transfers

To have an overview to all your outgoing transfers to Magic Dice, you will have to select in the From filter your username, in the To filter the account of Magic Dice.
Now you do have an overview of all your outgoing transfers to Magic Dice.
But we are not there yet!
Copy all the information from the filter into a new tab and add a new column if you were using both Steem and SBD.

Incoming transfers

These could be multiple things. Information about winning or losing bets. Delegation rewards, referral rewards and so on.

So change in the filter to From field into @Magicdice.
Also copy the results of this filter in the same tab as the outgoing transfer beside the outgoing transfers.

Collecting the results

Now we do have a tab in excel in which. The problem we still have is that if you have both bet with Steem and SBD.

So we have to some magic. You will have to extract this information and put it into a new cell.

I did use the following formula in column Steem/SBC
=if(right(C2;3)="eem";"Steem";"SBD")
If you run this you will have to copy the result column and past it again as values. We will remove the Steem and SBD from the amount column to be able to add it up!

The results

I could do the same for Steemmonsters, but I am too afraid for the results there :) I do know that at steemmonster I am running at a big loss.
