Steemslotgames: Steem stone mine
Well a few weeks ago, @steemslotgames did announce a new slot game. But I didn't have time to try it out until now!
So, I took the brave step and did deposit 2.5 steem into my steemslotgames account. The only way to deposit steem into steemslotgames is via steemconnect.
Steem stone
Well the animation of the reels is just better than with their first slotgame: Steemerald Fortune.
But there are more differences. The first one is that you only do play with 20 lines in stead of the 243 lines at Steemerald. But the good thing is that the lines go from left to right but also from right to left.
At Steemerald the lines only go for left to right.
The biggest addition is the steem stone. The steem stone can only appear on reel 2, 3 and 4. If you are lucky enough to have a steem stone on your reel, it will change the symbols on the same reel all in steem stones. The steem stone is a treated like a joker, so it is used as all symbols at once!
Not only that it also gives you a free respin in which the reel which has the steem stone on it is not spinned! This of course does increase the chances of hitting a bigger pay-out.
The probablilty of digging up or mining a steem stone is 10%. So on average it should show up once in each 10 spins.
If during the respin another steem stone appears, it will follow the same procedure.
I was lucky enough to turn a 0.1 Steem spin into a 12.8 steem payout!
The maximum possible profit in one spin is 2350 steem for a 1 steem spin. But because most of us, will play with the minimum bet (0.1 steem), you can still turn 0.1 steem into 235 steem.

From left to right and top to bottom:
- Diamond
- Spade
- Heart
- Club
- Quartz
- Agate
- Amethyst
Well I did like playe the new slot game! It is a great addition to the already Steemerald game they already had!
Curious if they are planning a new one!
The Return to Player is set on 96,03%, which is a little bit higher than on Steemerald, where it is only 95.3%. This means that in the long term, 96.03% of each steem betted in returned to the players. Of course not necesarally to you :)

Thanks for this explanation Peter. Slots are more stimulating to play than 'dice' but you do pay for it in the long run.
