Speaking of painting, we as teachers need to pay special attention to students who have great talent in painting, and if they don't, it will not produce good results, but for a while there is one painting from them that is very good as shown below.

Of course we ask what the concept is to create a painting like the one above? On this occasion we will definitely explain in detail about the techniques to teach it, here are some ways

• Provide materials for your child to draw, such as special paper or picture books, or coloring books. For coloring tools, look for nontoxic and safe for children.

• Be an example. In this case, it does not mean that you give an example of a picture (dictate) what he must follow, but by being an example. That is, show your child that you like and like drawing and coloring activities.

• Support his efforts to draw and color through the beautiful expressions of the colors he can use, the drawing lines, and the shapes that the child can try. "For example, beautiful, yes, flower purple sister."

• Instead of asking, "What are you drawing?", You should ask, "Tell Mama everything in your picture, bro." Why? Because when you ask like the first question, the child will catch it with the question "What's the picture, bro? You don't understand." That question made him feel he had made a mistake and it was possible that he would be ashamed to draw again because he felt he had failed to draw.

• Teach concepts about techniques. For example, thick, thin, wide, narrow, dark, light, angle, shape, contour, and so on.

• Don't forget to appreciate the results of his work. For example, by pasting the results of the picture on the door of the refrigerator, or framed and displayed in a room that can be seen by many people. Show your relatives, neighbors or relative who come, occasionally praise the work. This will boost the child's confidence.

• Give the child the opportunity to choose the subject he wants to draw and the coloring sheet he wants. Some people assume that coloring sheets will confine children's creativity. However, this activity also plays a vital role in developing children's fine motor skills. Even coloring activities can encourage children who feel reluctant to start drawing and coloring to want to take crayons and start trying to color their favorite characters. For example, the child who was reluctant to start drawing and coloring will find it easier to start this activity by being asked to color his favorite cartoon character. You can download coloring pages on his favorite cartoon sites. Don't forget to always accompany your child when they draw and color, because children who are too young can choke if they try to eat crayons or other coloring tools.

• Dik Doank shares tips, if your child draws something abstract, you can try to find a break and make something interesting from what your child draws.
