The Benefits of Fasting For Our Body's Health

Happy Afternoon steemians friends, may we all always be in a healthy state. In the near future for friends who are Muslims will welcome the Holy Month of Ramadan. Here I will tell you about the benefits of fasting for the health of our body, As confirmed by the Prophet Muhammad SAW narrated by Ibn Suny and Abu Nu'aim: "Fast and you will be healthy."

The concept of fasting in Islam is substantially refrain from eating, drinking and relating to husband and wife as well as things that break the fast and reduce the reward from dawn to sunset with intention. But the Health Science was fasting is very good and beneficial for our health, following some of the benefits of fasting for our body health:

Fasting can keep the balance of anabolism and catabolism.
In contrast to starvation or starvation in various forms can interfere with the health of the body. On the contrary, in fasting ramadan occurs anabolic balance and catabolism that result in amino acids and various other substances help the rejuvenation of cells and their components produce blood glucose and supply amino acids in the blood throughout the day.

By fasting our bodies Will not lead to acidification in the blood.
Then also different from starving, in Islamic fasting research shows amino acids oxidized slowly and ketones do not increase in blood so that will not lead to acidification in the blood.

Fasting can lower glucose and weight.
The cohort study was conducted on 81 students of the University of Tehran of Medical Sciences during fasting. Weight evaluation, body mass index (BMI), glucose, triglycerides (TG), cholesterol, low density lipoprotein (LDL), high density lipoprotein (HDL), and Very Low density lipoprotein (VLDL), before and after Ramadan are evaluated. This study shows that Ramadan fasting causes decreased glucose and weight.
Despite a significant decrease in feeding frequency, significant increases in LDL and HDL decreases were recorded in Ramadan. It seems that the effects of Ramadan fasting on blood lipid levels may be closely related to nutritional diets or biochemical starvation response.

Fasting is also very good benefits for the Heart.
Some studies say there is actually no striking difference when fasting than when not fasting. Ramadan fasts do not drastically affect the metabolism of fats, carbohydrates and proteins. Although elevated serum uria and uric acid occur frequently during mild dehydration during fasting. When fasting there was an increase in HDL and alpha apoproteins. LDL decrease itself is very beneficial for heart health and blood vessels.
Some "chronobiological" studies have shown that Ramadan fasting influences the rhythm of decreased circadian distribution of body temperature, cortisol hormone, melatonin and glycemia. These seemingly mild changes also play a role in improving human health.

Fasting can boost the immune system.
Research shows when fasting increases lymphocyte up to ten times. Although the overall white blood cells did not change, T cells experienced a rapid increase. Recent studies have shown that there is a decrease in apo-betta, raising levels of apo-alfa1 compared to before fasting. These conditions can keep the heart disease and blood vessels.

Various scientific studies through medical research have shown that it turns out a full month fasting during the month of Ramadan is very beneficial for the human body. Instead many studies show that fasting is different from ordinary starvation, in general will not disturb the human body. In looking at the scientific findings it will be more believed that the health blessings promised in fasting is not just a theory and opinion. Benefits of fasting for health partly been proven scientifically.

Naturally, that fasting is the most eagerly anticipated moment of the Muslims because it is scientifically proven to promise blessings and miracles in human health.
