All kinds of holidays have been suspended by the Water Development Board (Payubo) officials and employees till September to face the flood situation.

The Water Development Board has issued an order regarding the signing of Pubo's secretary Abdul Khalek on Thursday.

It is said in the letter that "All the holidays (without hajj celebrations) have been postponed till July 4 to September till the necessary measures are taken to tackle the possible disasters of the floods, including the suspension of their leave."

Pubo said that due to the flood situation prevailing in the country today, demolition of Pubo dam has caused fear of damage to public buildings, including crops, crops, irrigation, canal dike and other infrastructures. Besides, emergency services may also be required after the flood.

In this situation, all officers and employees have been instructed to discharge their duties carefully to face the flood situation.

Meanwhile, the Public Secretary, the Deputy Commissioner and the Public Authorities have also been asked to maintain full-time contact with the Secretary.

The Meteorological Department has forecast forecasts of floods in the country's broader areas during the monsoon in mid-July.

Director of Meteorological Department Samshuddin Ahmed said, due to heavy rain in the country's upward trend, in the second half of this month, short-to-mid-term flood situation can occur in northern, central and northeastern areas.

Heavy rain forecast in the next two to three days is likely to flood due to the trend of water flow in different rivers.

Moderate to heavy rains continued after mid-rains due to monsoon winds being active across the country. Heavy rain forecast for next 24 hours has been kept in the forecast of the Meteorological Department. The Indian Meteorological Department also gave similar speculation.

According to the water development board forecast, water can be increased in the next two days in the rivers Dharla, Teesta, Dudhkumar, Ghaghat and Surma and Kushiaras in the north-east.

However, it is predicted that the increase in the growth rate of the mountainous rivers in the south-eastern country can be reduced.

The water development board of the Brahmaputra and Jamuna rivers will continue to increase water for more than three days and for two more days in the Padma. However, these rivers have not reached the danger zone yet.
