Cross spider and its prey
The Cross spider is very easy to recognize because of the signs on the back of it, signs which, in fact, give it its popular name. Thus, spiders have a cross formed and surrounded by several white points on their backs.
This spider is a weaver spider and therefore hunts its prey with the help of web that measures even 40 cm in diameter. This web has a spherical shape and the spider is in the center of it detecting the vibrations of the web with their legs. If an insect gets caught in the web, the spider packs the prey into silk and then consumes it.
Note: I do not write this post as a spider specialist(I'am not), I write this post as a photographer. I am just an observer of nature through the camera lens.

I know this family of spiders well. In autumn weaver spiders build webs across my garden. I like your photo. It is better than mine. Here is mine for you to see:
He is a golden orb weaver spider :)
