Hau vs Ash Pokemon Rant!

I might have just watched the most ridiculous battle result ever in the whole Pokemon series: Ash's championship league battle against Hau (Pokemon Sun and Moon E133).

I've said it over a year ago on one of my blog posts that I really disliked the whole Pokemon Sun and Moon series. From it's concept, storyline, art or whatever I find the whole season a total downgrade compared to it's predecessors (but I still can't help myself watch the latest episodes out of habit XD). And today after watching Ep 133 of the Sun and Moon series I really do think that Pokemon has really reached rock bottom.

To start off, the episode was about Ash's championship league battle with Hau. I haven't really played the Pokemon Sun and Moon game but if I am not mistaken Hau is this season's Ash's rival and definitely the most underdeveloped rival Ash has.

The match starts off in Hau's favour and clearly he was DOMINATING against Ash's Rowlett. It was like a match between a level 50 and a level 100 character that's how one-sided the match looks like.

And after some time, Ash's Rowlett was finally knocked out (and I would like to emphasize here that it felt like Rowlett was knocked out for a decent amount of time) and Hau was declared as the winner of the battle by the acting referree.

That is until Hala (the old guy below) made an objection to the verdict.

To which he claims that Rowlett is still not knocked out but is just... ASLEEP!

Well for comedic purposes it was actually a good idea but I think we can all agree here that this is just the most ridiculous writing ever in the whole Pokemon franchise. Lol

First, this is not an ordinary match but a Championship League match (Alolan Pokemon League) so the referee who by the way is an Island King should have checked and known Rowlett's condition rather than impulsively declaring that Hau won the battle.

Poor Hau, he was very happy for a minute defeating his rival until someone robbed him off his victory. And what's worse is that that "someone" is his GRANDPA! How cruel Pokemon has become Last time I checked this was a kid's show. LOL
