Dear brothers and sisters of my fabulous @esteem community, good evening this is Julia here and it's the fifth day of my fasting and worship of goddess Durga's fifth incarnation "Mother Skandmata" the Goddess of 'wisdom and power'.

Goddess Skandmata always holds lotus in her two hands and rides a lion in one hand a bell and on another hand she holds a water material, you can see there is God Skand sitting on her lap, due to this she is known as Skandmata means the mother of God Skand and this idol of Mother Skandmata is a symbolic to the love of mother and son, the worshippers automatically get the blessings of God Kartikey the son of Giddess Parvati who is in her lap. Skandmata on the other hand known for demolishing the demons.

The worshippers and devotees of the Mother Skandmata get high blessings and love by mother and get their desires fulfilled after the worship of the fifth incarnation of the mother Durga ji. Devotees get Moksha by the worship of mother Skandmata and this day is known as the Panchami by Hindus devotees and they wear grey dress this day.

Chanting of this mantra to worship Goddess Skanda mata and Lord Kartikeya is highly appreciated and gets good results.

सिंघासनगता नित्यम पद्माश्रितकरद्वया |

शुभदास्तु सदा देवी स्कन्द माता यशश्विनी ||
Siṅghāsanagatā nityama padmāśritakaradvayā |
śubhadāstu sadā dēvī skanda mātā yaśaśvinī ||
या देवी सर्वभू‍तेषु माँ स्कन्दमाता रूपेण संस्थिता। नमस्तस्यै नमस्तस्यै नमस्तस्यै नमो नम:।।
