Wednesday Walk: my walk at the National Museum, เดินเล่นที่พิพิธภัณฑ์สถานแห่งชาติ

This is my entry for #wednesdaywalk hosted by @tattoodjay. This is my second part of my visit to the Naional Museum in Bangkok.

I went there on a bus and got off at the junction opposite the museum. The sky was bright blue and the day was quite hot! Several months ago, my old friend took me to this museum as she wanted to pay respect to very big bronze Buddha’s head which was rescued from the treasure hunters in the old capital of Ayutthaya. After the war and plundering of temples for treasures, many valuable antiques had disappeared into the black market. Luckily some ancient pieces are being preserved in this building. That day the museum was closed but the staff allowed us to stand in front of the building to perform a ceremony. I was struck by a strong bolt of energy so I was determined to get back there to see that old statue one day.

The first building on the right is the place where the collection of old bronze and sand stone statues of over 1,000 years old can be found. This building seemed very small but it took me almost three hours to go through the exhibits! So, I will concentrate on the oldest collection in this post.

วันนี้เป็นตอนที่สอง ต่อจากภาคแรกที่เราไปเดินเที่ยวที่พิพิธภัณฑ์สถานแห่งชาติในเดือนก่อน ความจริงเมื่อประมาณหกเดือนก่อนเพื่อนพาเราไปที่นี่ เพราะเขาอยากไปกราบเศียรพระพุทธรูปที่มาจากวัดพระศรีสรรเพ็ชรที่อยุธยา แต่วันนั้นเขาปิดแต่ยอมให้เราทำพิธีที่หน้าตึกได้ เราแค่ไปเป็นเพื่อน แต่พอทำพิธีถวายพานดอกไม้ เราโดนฟ้าผ่าด้วยพลังที่มาจากข้างในตึกจนเราตกใจ. ทำให้เราตั้งใจว่าจะต้องกลับมาแสดงความเคารพท่านสักวันหนึ่ง ในที่สุดความหวังก็เป็นจริง ตึกนี้ดูเล็กๆจากภายนอก แต่พอเข้าไปข้างในนั้นกว้างมาก เราใช้เวลาเดินเกือบสามชั่วโมง. วันนี้จะรายวานในส่วนที่เก่าแก่เกินหนึ่งพันปีก่อน เพราะเรามีความประทับใจในความยิ่งใหญ่อลังกาล และความมีอารยธรรมของประวัติศาสตร์ไทยมาก ความศรัทธาและความมุ่งมั่นในศาสนาพุทธก็สะท้อนให้เห็น ในความละเอียดของการแกะสลักหินจนเป็นพระพุทธรูป

เราจะเห็นรูปปั้นแกะจากหินข้างขวามือ คือพระวิษณุ ข้างหน้าเป็นพระธรรมจักรแกะสลักจากหิน เหล่านี้มีอายุมากกว่าพันปีถึงพันสองร้อยปีทีเดียว. ในห้องนี้มีพระพุทธรูปนาคปรกงามมากหลายองค์ ทั้งแกะจากหิน และหล่อเป็นสัมฤทธิ์ เราเพลินมากกับการดูความงามของผลงานคนสมัยโบราณ ดูเท่าไรก็ไม่เบื่อ อาจเป็นเพราะเขาเปิดแอร์เย็นสบายด้วย

นอกจากนี้ก็มีหลักศิลาจารึกสมัยพ่อขุนรามคำแหง และทับหลังที่สวยงามมาก แต่จุดเด่นคือ เศียรขนาดใหญ่ที่มาจากวัดพระศรีสรรเพชรที่อยุธยา นี่ถ้ามีครบทั้งองค์ ห้องนี้ก็คงแคบไป เราสงสารท่านที่ท่านโดนโจรใจบาป พยายามตัดเศียรท่านไปขายในตลาดมืด ทำให้ได้ความเสียหายมาก เราได้รับพลังดีๆจากการเดินไปรอบๆห้อง ถ้ามีเวลาว่างเราก็คงจะไปกราบท่านอีก เราจะได้เอาดอกไม้ไปถวายท่านด้วย
