July, 1969. The United States of America and the Soviet Union of that time, desperately trying to overthrow each other with the help of nerve war. In the continuation of the United States of America began a difficult mission. Destination- The mysterious moon surface of the earth (average) about 3,84,400 kilometers (approx) Apollo 11 spacecraft carrying three airplanes with the Kennedy Space Center launch pad on 16 July. And on 20th July the human race on the moon chest. A new section is added to the history page.

That is, another breakthrough chapter, written on 21 July 1969, 21 years after 48 years and 9 months. The same place, from where Apollo 11, was launched from the historic launch site of Kennedy Space Center, Bangladesh's first satellite Bangabandhu 1. As the time of Bangladesh, on Saturday, May 11, 2018, the satyattite started its journey to space with rockets at the latest version of Falcon Nine at 2:14 pm on Saturdays. As the country's 57th country, the name of Bangladesh will now be spoken as a proponent of its own satellite.

Be the dreamer of the Bangabandhu 1 satellite

French Thales Alenna Space Company has created the original infrastructure of Bangabandhu 1 satellite of about 3, 500 kg. This satellite has been named after the popular title of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, named after 'Bangabandhu'. The Bangabandhu satellite, built at a cost of about Tk 2,765 crore, will be located in space geostationary orbit of 119.1 degree East longitude.

At the end of the satellite, on March 30, a special flight was taken from France to the Kennedy space station in the US state of Florida. In spite of various tests and adversities, the satellite was sent to the space of 11 May (Bangladesh time) of 2018 by Falcon Nine Rocket in SpaceX. The satellite will be controlled from the three Ground stations of the United States, Italy and South Korea for a few days until the satellite is separated from the rocket until it reaches its allotted space. Basically, the satellite will be placed in orbit in two stages. The first phase will take 10 days and the next phase will take 20 days.

In the first phase, launching satellite launches and pre-orbit (LEOP) and in the orbit of the second stage. Steps will be handed over to the control of Bangladesh. The satellite has been built in Joydebpur of Gazipur, the main ground station, and the land control system. Two tens of tones of antennas have been installed here for satellite signals. There will be a total of 40 transponders of the satellite, in which (according to the decision taken till now) 20 will be allocated for Bangladesh and the remaining 20 will be given. Of the forty, 26 will be the Ku Band and the 14 C Band Transponders. The saturation of satellites will be theoretically 1,600 megharts as each frequency receives 40 MHz from each transpondor. However, experts believe that due to some technical constraints it will be 1,400 MHz.

Bang Bandhu Satellite's Ku Band Transponders will be under the purview of the whole of Bangladesh and Bay of Bengal. Besides, this band will be covered by Regional Beam in India, Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Philippines and Indonesia. On the other hand, there will be a huge area under Regional C Band. These transponders will accept information from the ground station (up-link) as an electromagnetic wave or microwave signal. After that the amplification will be sent back in a few times (down-link) in the world. There is an effective period of space for satellite or satellite satellites in space. At Bangabandhu 1 satellite, it has been captured at least 15 years.

The first satellite in Bangladesh will be located in any space

Bangabandhu Satellite 1 is the first geostationary satellite in the world which will radiate in our life as well as in this vibrant world. Geostationary thing is a little clearer and move forward. Geocentric orbit based on elevation from Earth's surface (Geocentric Orbit which is called in English) is mainly divided into three categories.

Comparative images of orbits of different distances; Pictures: nasa.gov

1. Low Earth Orbit (LEO): They generally lie above 180-2,000 kilometers above the Earth's surface. Detective satellites are basically in this orbit. International Space Station and Hubble Space Telescope are members of this orbit.

2. Medium Earth Orbit (MEO): These are in the range of 2,000-35,780 kilometers. The Galileo and the Glunes satellites are constantly rotating in this orbit.

3. High Earth Orbit / Geostationary Earth Orbit (GEO): Our interest, our pride, our Bangabandhu Satellite 1 is in this type of orbit. Geostationary satellite is a type of artificial satellite that will circumnavigate the Earth once every 24 hours along the Earth's illumination line. However, there will be no relative motion relative to the surface area. That is, the way Earth's rotation is such that these artificial satellites will rotate exactly the same way. They are generally more than 35,780 kilometers in space.

Now, come back from Kennedy Space Station

Located on the east coast of Florida, this space station was established in 1962, after former US President John F. Kennedy. It is located in more than one million forty-one thousand acres of Merit Island.

Bangabandhu satellite in space to receive the key?

There is a matter of honor. Bangladesh can benefit economically from this satellite if we can take advantage of the opportunity. According to the data obtained from Daily Prothom Alo (published on May 12, 2012 city edition, published on page 3), both foreign currency earnings and savings will be possible due to this satellite.

About thirty-seven satellite-based television channels are now broadcasting in Bangladesh. Currently, all the private television channels of Bangladesh are using the Hong Kong-based Apster-7 satellite for their broadcast. Rashtriya Bangladeshi Television Broadcasting is rented from AsianSat 7. Channel costs are about 17 crores per year as per satellite rental. This year's annual amount of money has been reduced. Apart from the SAARC countries, Indonesia, Myanmar, the Philippines and the former Soviet Union, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Kazakhstan are part of this satellite, due to their availability under this satellite.

But private television channels fear that they will not be able to serve in different Middle Eastern countries with this satellite. Due to the satellite system, the satellite-based television service DTH will now be expanding. As a result, High Definition (HD) television channels will be seen at a comparatively low cost.

This satellite can be used to expand internet services in haor and mountainous areas. Currently there is no fiber-optic internet connectivity in the country due to inadequate communication of around 700 people in the union. Though it is comparatively expensive, the satellite will be able to deliver internet services in these regions. But the government may have to subsidize this.

Bangabandhu Satellite will play an effective role in dealing with disaster management and disaster situation. Although the networking of mobile phones is stagnant in large-scale natural disasters, it will be possible to keep the satellite in the affected areas. Even the 7-plus earthquake of the Richter scale will keep the telecommunication system in place to keep the satellites all-time alternate arrangements.

This satellite will benefit the common people of Bangladesh or only a few groups will enjoy it, it will say that there is a waiting-day unknown future. However, the present has taken us from the world's darbar's elite class status - it can be said without doubt.
