A Shadow in the Dark - Poem
Lies of this world,
Hiding behind the walls of horror.
Truth,an ignorant wisp of smoke,
Choking you out into open.
It was the face of evil,
That shook the hymns in succession.
The field looked stray,
Devoid of emotions.
Dripping in a pool of blood,
Drapped were their souls.
The hand of death struck swiftly,
Cutting through the parade of the mortals.
Sprinkled in the air,
Was also moments of love.
Tiny droplets,
Of pure love.
As it was,
None could stop it,
None could stand in defence,
For it was time,
Time for the rise of evil
