At the Corner - Poem
Deep within,
The fields lay open,
Inviting,
To a past doused in happiness.
A memory,
Faded at the edges,
Docile even,
To think of the possibilities.
Wish as they may,
At the crossroads lay the bill,
Paid by another,
To be bound until eternity.
Hopes and dreams,
Flew around,
A myriad of thoughts,
All lay strewn at the feet,
Of the Goddess.
Lovely. I like corners.
