Lonely at the end - Poem
Promises in false wrapping,
Presented in gold coating.
Few fall,
Few stay aloof.
The ones that fall,
Dies a painful death.
The ones that stay afar,
Continue a lonely life.
It's not an easy path,
But tread and persevere you must.
The woods in the back,
Call out to me
I heed it's beckoning call,
To find peace among st it's vastness.
Darkness calms me,
The cold an ally.
I live forever,
In the shadows of joy.
