The Visitors - Poem
A thought never held,
Not even for a second long,
Whisked away,
Without reverence.
A playful game,
A mindless fantasy,
Was it all,
But not anymore.
It happened around a comet time,
A light in the sky,
Moving down and east,
Soon figured to be no comet at all.
The sky swirvled a beautiful light,
Dancing to the tune,
One of invasion,
To the horrors of all unprepared.
An event earlier part of only fiction,
Was now a reality for all to live in,
Harsh and with no mercy was all treated,
To be brought towards the "purpose."
