Drool, drool, drool! Tempeh is my FAVOURITE 'meat' alternative - hubby isn't a fan but he has no choice. I've recently started making a really delish dish where you slice the tempeh into matchsticks, fry, then in a separate pan fry ginger, then add a blend of equal tamari and maple, along with some thin sliced kaffir lime leaves - toss together, reduce a little, then serve in lettuce cups with some black rice, black sesame and fried eggplant and fried shallots - hang on - gotta head to kitchen... tummyrumbling and I HAVE TEMPEH IN THE CUPBOARD!
