Winning Mentality

If anybody was watching the champions league matches Wednesday you might have seen that masterclass by Ronaldo. Not that it was him winning the match by himself but the mentality he had coming into the match to say that he was not losing this game. 2-0 down from the first leg and totally outclassed they needed something special to get to the next round. At least two goals if they didn't concede.

Apparently coming into the macth Ronaldo has stated multiple time he was going to smash in a hat trick to get them through. ( Not sure how true that is but I wouldn't be surprised. )

Now a lot of you might not have any interest in the football or see the European results but that isn't the important take away. The focus here is the confidence / arrogance to fully believe in what he was going to do. Told, they had no chance. Told, he was past his best but he never wavered. Instead he played differently. He has changed and adapted his game over the past years to still get big performances just in a different way. That is what I find the most impressive.


This kind of mentality can be carried into any area in life. For me I play golf, football and @steemmonsters competitively and i like to win. Unfortunatly I don't always carry the Ronaldo mentality into matches since i haven't put in the time to master them to the same extent. That practice is what builds the confidence. I play and do win but need more practice and dedication to any of them if i wanted to reach another level.


You can carry it into business and projects too, which can be seen by some of the users of STEEM. There are some people here who just believe that what they are doing is the right way and don't let anything stop them from building the next part. Look at how much @steemmonsters has developed in such a short period of time. They knew what they wanted and built it.

Look at all of the individual people here that keep going when the world told them crypto wouldn't be a thing. That STEEM was a scam, that they had the wrong path. It hasn't stopped anybody here.

I've told lots of my friends about what we have here. I've joined some of them onto accounts and yet none of them use the chain.

YET.

Because they will. At some stage they will see what I have been doing and it will click in their minds that this is a winner. That this makes sense. Until then i will keep doing it because I believe in what we are doing and what we will achieve. I have that mentality about this project and know that it will work.
