Dekat kampung sahaja dapat merasa suasana meriah hari raya. Pelita adalah salah satu tradisi masyarakat majmuk Malaysia. Dinyalakan apinya ketika minggu terakhir puasa atau malam 7 lekor.

Waktu inilah sibuknya masyarakat Melayu untuk membuat persediaan menghadapi bulan Syawal. Menghias rumah,bakar lemang,kacau dodol,menganyam ketupat dan sebagainya.
