Kisarazu Port Festival - 2018 Summer of Tokyo

The second day at Okasan Y's house, breakfast was their famous Japanese style "char-siu" rice, which was same to our "char-siu fan".

I forgot to take photos of it because I kept eating to taste the difference between ours local char-siu rice and theirs. The conclusion their char-siu rice was sweeter and lighter! Thus, I prefer our savoury version of char-siu rice which has barbeque's burnt aromatic fragrance. The burnt crisps flavour is iconic for me.

After the breakfast, the Mr followed his host family to the nearby market to buy ingredients for later lunch cooking. Yes! Again we want to cook the Malaysian famous cuisine: bah kut tea! (Oh ya, sorry that it is non halal.. as we used pork)

Hooray! We managed to present it excellently! It was aromatic and tasted superb!! The kids finished it in a minute and asked for more rice with the soup of bahkutea!! Since kids do not lie, so I assumed it was tasty and everyone liked it no doubt! Lol!

I recommend my dear steemians to share bahkutea herbs packets with foreign friends as it is tasty and easily to be accepted by them.

After the bahkutea lunch, we got ourselves ready to attend one of the biggest fireworks show in Kisarazu Port. It was even bigger than the show in Shinjuku, thus many people were coming for it. It was so crowded!

To avoid stuck in jammed we went in kisarazu port by train and also earlier to avoid the crowds. However, the station and streets were still so crowded, everywhere full of people. Most of them wearing yukata to attend the fireworks event! I loved this oldies feelings, I was like falling back into the old times.

When we reached kisarazu station, we walked along the crowded street towards the port to look for better seating for the fireworks later. However, the kids were attracted by the scooping neon lighting toys game stall. We stopped by to wait for them to play the game.

Then, the sky began to get darker and darker, and the streets getting crowded and crowded....we were being instructed by the volunteers to sit down as the show was going to start soon. Indeed, the firework started sharply on time! It was amazing and remarkable, that we sat just right in front of the firework surrounded by the sea port. The fireworks was non stop for 1 hour, which I felt it was rather too long even though we had a lot of fun there.

After the fireworks, we followed the crowd left the place, but surprisingly everything was in good order even in such a big crowd. Slowly and finally when we almost arrived the train station, there was already a long queue wait for the train.

I was shocked because in Malaysia we only had car congestion but not human congestion! But again I was shocked too because of everyone cooperation and kept in good order we managed to get home nicely.
