Dylan, and Dianne arrived at the cafeteria. Inside they saw that there several students eating dinner.

"Good thing the cafeteria's still opened," Dylan said.

They then walked towards an empty table situated in a corner. As they are walking, several surprised gazes fall on them. To be more precised, they landed on Dianne.

Dylan was not surprised by this as Dianne's truly a head turner. Of course none of those eyes even bothered to look at him, not that he minded. After that soft whispers can be heard through out the dining hall. This is despite the students effort to lower their voices.

Dianne on the the otherhand didn't seemed to care as she walks without looking around. But Dylan's next action surprised her little though...

Like a true gentleman, Dylan naturally prepare a seat for Dianne. This seemingly unexpected action was finally noticed by the people inside the cafeteria. Only then they realized that Dianne did not come alone!

This development shocked the students more than seeing Dianne inside the school cafeteria. "Just who is this guy?" Is what on everyone's thought.

They then started scrutinizing Dylan, wanting to know what makes him so special to have the previledge to dine with the school's ice goddess.

Yet they did not find anything special about him. Look-wise, his not that handsome, only slightly above average. He also doesn't looked like someone coming from an affluent family, or clan. As they do not know him, they also could not judge his ability, or even his personality. Well, his gentlemanly action right now did raise a few eyebrows. But it doesn't really represents much. After all its normal for guys to pretend a little in front of the girls they liked.

Dylan felt like some specimen under the microscope. Who would have thought that his little action right now will catch everyone's attention...

Ignoring the everyone's gaze, Dylan proceed to ask Dianne what he wanted to eat. As someone who usually have her food deliver to her, Dianne have no idea what kind of food are served in a cafeteria.

Noticing this, Dylan spoke, "the food on the shool's cafeteria are actually good. They obviously cannot match the food on those high class hotels, or restaurant. But they are prepared by the kitchen staff with lots of care, and effort. How about this tell me a little bit about your preference in food. And I'll see if they have food that fit those criteria."

Little surprised by Dylan's meticulous nature, Dianne stared at him a little before opening her lips. After knowing what type of food she liked, Dylan went to the counter, and looked at food available. He then converse with a female staff for a little bit.

As he was conversing, majority of the people ignores him. Or to be more precise, only the guys did as they only wanted to admire Dianne a little longer—to the annoyance, and chagrin of the girls accompanying them. The remaining girls on the otherhand are either observing him with curiousity, or are silently eating their meals.

Few minutes later, Dylan returned with two trays of food. He first served Dianne her food before seating on his own chair. Dianne looked curiously at the food on her plate, and noticed that the food did indeed looked well prepare. But what truly surprised her is that the food Dylan choose for her are exactly the type of food she wanted!

Seeing Dianne looking at him, Dylan urges her to eat her food before it gets cold. Dianne nodded then started eating. Dianne's way of eating was impeccable. Her motion suggested that she's from a prominent family. Dylan, got more curious about her. The information they had about her was very few. He wondered, which powerful, and prominent family she belonged to.

The cafeteria is very quiet with only the sound of utensils are heard. Dylan feel that it's too quiet, so he started a conversation.

"By the way, why are you stilk outside at this time?" Dylan asked lightheartedly.

Dianne swallowed her food first before answering. "I'm just trying to get some fresh air after cultivating the whole afternoon," Dianne answered.

"Oh? You mean, you've just finished cultivating that time?" Dylan asked, a bit incredulous. It seemed despite being very talented, Dianne still take training very seriously.

Dianne nods then continued eating. The two converses while having meal. Since there table is quite far, the other students cannot hear what they are conversing, despite straining their ears.

Dylan, and Dianne ignore the eavesdropper, and converse between bites. Dianne was quite surprised by Dylan's conversation skill. He seemed to be an expert at conversing, and knows the questions that can be asked, and those that cannot. His timing was also perfect, and knows when to speak. Allowing Dianne to experience a pleasant conversation, while enjoying her meal. This totally changes her first impression of him. At first she thought that he's a reserved, and quiet individual. But it seemed far from the truth. This makes her very curious.

After they've eaten their meal, Dianne wanted to pay for both if their meals as thanks. But Dylan smiled, and told her that he had already paid for the meal, and asked her not to worry so much as cafeteria food are cheap. Hearing this, Dianne no longer insist, and said her thanks with a slight smile.

Seeing her smile, Dylan was a little startled, but manages to recover quickly. He then offer to walk her til the entrance of the girls dormitory. Nodding, the two walked side by side. Unbeknownst to them, this short interlude, is just the start of the interaction between the two of them...
