Hué; City of Citadels

Wohoo! I have arrived in Vietnam. During the month october I have been given the opportunity to travel in this wonderfull country. I will be doing so by going from North to South. On the 3rd of october I arrived in Hanoi. And on the 29th of october I will enter an aeroplane in Ho Chi Minh City.

And yes, I have already been in the country for over 10 days. As I was not planning to do any blogging some time has gone by already. And my oh my, time over here sure goes by quickly. Now I find myself in the city of Hue.

In this quaint city about halfway between the north and south of Vietnam I think it is about time to delve a little deeper into the local culture. And what is a better way to do so other than a guided tour with a local guide. Seems to me the locals that speak English very well will become guides. This in turn makes it much easier for you to ask some questions about how things are done in a country.

Soon after I arrive at the meeting point I find myself alone in a local cafe, waiting for the rest of the participants. As you can see it looks quite nice over here. Better have some iced coffee.

It might not look like coffee but this is definitely one of the strongest and best frappes that I have experienced in quite some time. It made the waiting time go past me like a summer breeze. So now you are curious about the rest of the tour? Find out in my next post haha :)
