Hello, my dearest friends! Folk crafts are an important part of the traditional Cossack culture. For several centuries in the Kuban made pottery and dishes, which is not only good quality, but also design.

Significant development of this art has received in the villages of Pashkovskaya, Staroshcherbinovskaya, Rozhdestvenskaya and Batalpashinskaya. Here and today there live masters who make here such original products from clay.

From time immemorial, they make black-glazed pots in the Kuban region, which were once made by ancient nomadic tribes. They have a unique dark glow.

This is a property of firing, which is specially sometimes "imitated" to achieve similarity with real polished dishes. To do this, the clay is rubbed with something dark, or just bloat, causing a volumetric image.

In the finished form of such jugs and mugs look great.
