I always joked about refried beans with a local guy when I lived in AZ. 'We like our beans fried just once thanks'.
I never did try them. Taco Bell was the closest. You go in there max twice and that's enough.
That is funny. They are pretty awesome though. We had them with fajitas tonight. My wife and I enjoy Taco Bell. It is pretty much her go-to fast food joint. I usually prefer a burger. I know you were joking but refried is actually a misnomer. Something to do with the translation from Spanish.
