Eat your Macronutrients together

Now you understand the concepts of how nutrition affects Fat Loss and what you need to eat in order to begin shedding that Fat, we need to look at how we are going to construct our meals.

You may have noticed a pattern as we moved from Carbohydrates through our other macronutrients. Each affects the other in a positive way with regards to Fat Loss if we eat them together.

Because of this you should ensure that each of your meal contains.

A Complex carbohydrate from the low-mid GI range to ensure slow blood glucose release

A whole source of protein to give your body the building blocks it needs and to further slow the release of glucose into the blood stream.

A good source of fats especially omega 3 and 6 in the right ratio to further slow the release of blood glucose and to ensure that your body receives its essential fatty acids and releases its own fat reserves.

A source of Soluble and Insoluble Fibre to ensure that; our stomachs stay fuller for longer which leaves us less prone to snacking, to delay the release of glucose into the blood stream further and to block excessive fat uptake.

These foods, when eaten together, turn into a meal that will strip the Fat from your body.

I know some of you are looking at what I am asking you to do for each meal and thinking to yourself there is no way I can do all that for x amount of meals and snacks a day Its too much.

Trust me it’s not, what if I was to tell you that one of your meals could be an egg roll with salad or fruit? That’s simple enough

Wholemeal roll with sesame seeds = Low – Mid GI Carbohydrate source, small protein and fibre source with omega 6 source seeds

Butter = protein and natural fat source

Egg = Whole Protein source and Omega 3 Source

Salad or Fruit = Insoluble and Soluble Fibre Source

It really can be that simple if you let it, a food list of great sources of these macronutrients will follow in the near future to help with your meal planning.
