I love Art Prints & Posters, and with all of the great new artists out there today, I figured that it would be good to start featuring a new Art Print or Poster each day to help spread the word about some of the hit artists who are currently gaining attention.

Artist Bio: Marq Spusta is an artist type of fellow. He works on a variety of projects, from creating concert posters / art prints and designing packaging for albums & CD's, to exhibiting intricate paintings at gallery shows. Marq lives and works alongside his wife and two small children in their home on the California Coast.

Marq's work focuses on fanciful creatures and scenery, using vivid colors and organic shapes. He is known for his distinct illustrative style, and his work can be seen on concert posters for bands like Widespread Panic, Phish, The Black Crowes & Tom Petty. He has also worked intimately with Dogfish Head Craft Brewery to design packaging and art prints for their wide array of brews! Marq is known for experimenting with a vast array of different inks and papers, and often creates dozens of variant colorways of a single image using different combinations of inks and paper, resulting in materially different interpretations of the same basic artwork!
