Dreams of Fortune - Poem
A day that was spent,
In gloomy silence over the farewell.
It was not about the distance,
But rather the frequency of the sight.
A flower for every breath,
Spent away to cover the forest.
Dreams of this life and over the oceans,
To learn and achieve it all.
Was now a foolish thought,
For all to see.
Walking under the marble arch of horror,
I abstain from the evil of this world.
Terror might creep from the darkest place,
Holding down the fort like a knight will be the stand.
An heir to the kingdom,
Ran amok like a homeless.
Things were near,
For all to hear.
