Gestern war es bei traumhaftem Sonnenschein soweit, der erstes Gipfel ist erklommen.

Für den Aufstieg von Igls (1009m) benötigte ich gemächliche 3,5 Stunden bis ich am Gipfel stand. Man kann aber auch mit der Gondel zur Bergstation fahren, und dann die restlichen 300 Höhenmeter zu Fuss auf den Gipfel gehen (ca. 50 min). Das machen viele Innsbruck-Besucher, da man einen wahnsinngen, tollen Ausblick hat.

Am Patscherkofel steht neben dem Gipfelkreuz auch noch der Sendetrum des ORF, der mit dem Antennzylinder 67 Meter in die Höhe ragt. Und auch das Radar für den Innsbrucker Flughafen befindet sich dort oben.

Yesterday the sun was shining and the first summit was climbed.

For the ascent from Igls (1009m) I needed a leisurely 3.5 hours until I reached the summit. But you can also take the gondola to the top station, and then walk the remaining 300 m to the summit (about 50 min). This is what many Innsbruck visitors do, because you have a great view.

At the Patscherkofel, next to the summit cross, there is also the ORF broadcast drum, which rises 67 metres high with the Antennzylinder. The radar for Innsbruck Airport is also up there.
