CONTROL YOUR THOUGHT.......
Sinful thought are things many Christians battle with in their walk with God, and as we all are flesh that have a mind, and we also think, we need to gain control over this part of us, so our lives can be what we want it to be.
Sometimes it seems we have no control over the thought that run through our minds, it seems they just run for free without anyone in charge of them, but the power to resist thought lies in our hands, we just need to utilize the power that we have, no matter who you are, it is possible for bad thoughts to rule your mind, If you don't decide to put your mind under control, because the ability to think lies in every single human being, so the devil can perverse this good ability and make it a bad thing.
Whenever a strange thought comes into your heart, you as a child of God must know what to do about it, and what do you do, you cast and bind it in the name of Jesus, with your words, not with thought too.
Many people do not bother about the things that go on in their hearts, maybe because these thoughts are not open for everyone to see, But you must know that even though people don't see you, God sees your heart and He knows what goes on in there.
Your actions will always tends towards the thought that flow in your heart, so it is essential for you to take charge of your thoughts life, so you won't be doing the wrong thing everyday.
Your words are also determinant by your thoughts, so If you are talking wrong, then you are most likely thinking wrong, your mouth speaks out the things that your heart has in store.
Appreciating a beautiful thing or beautiful person is not a bad thing, actually it is a good thing but if after the appreciation we still keep meditating on it, and a need arise inside of us to get that thing or person either by hook or by crook, then we have a problem.
If you are not careful, you will find yourself doing the things you think about most of the time, and if this thing is good, then we don't have a problem, but if your thoughts are bad, which will lead to bad actions, then we might have a very serious problem.
Lust starts from the heart, unkind words starts from the heart, hate start from the heart, envy starts from the heart, so if you want to deal with the problem, go straight to the source which is the heart.
Many would have meditate so much on the things they want to dobut would still go ahead to do the other way round.
Don't ever be over confidence in yourself and think that you can overcome yourself, NO, because what control self is the heart....... Work on your heart and mind and you will ever be productive.
