Jeff Hardy being a World Champ is nowhere near stranger than if Rusev was to become one. WWE loved Jeff since the very beginning, check his WWE championship match with Undertaker in like '02. I saw the match AS it happened and i m well over 27 years into this fandom Jeff Hardy as world champion, looking back, was laughable...although at the time it was a feel good moment the point is... none of us know what these creatives are gonna do... stranger things have happened so we'll see. It was laughable because dude was a modern day Mick Foley a stunt man, a daredevil not a wrestler Matt has always been the better WRESTLER but Jeff had the looks and no fear while i het the decision. Its still laughable that he is a grand slam champ its quite a few that make me laugh jinder is another. Rusev had one main event against Styles and from what i saw,it was a good match.Him and Cesaro need to be world champ at least once in their careers.If Great Khali and Mahal can be champs,those other guys deserve it more. Matt Drake Mahal was only champ because of the fact WWE was about to head to India for a lot of shows. If it wasn't for that, Mahal would have never known what it would be like to be championship. Nicholas,that may be the case,but look at how far he feel since he was WWE champ.Hes in lower mid card matches with no build like when he was in 3mb.Compare how they are using Mahal and Drew McIntyre.
