Rambutan Gula Madu, meskipun namanya sedih aneh, namun tetap saja rambutan, rambutan adalah suatu tanaman tropis yang tergolong ke dalam suku Sipendanceae atau lerak larakan.
Tanaman ini berasal dari Asia tenggara, namun mengapa harus namanya rambutan? Mungkin buah ini dulunya tidak memiliki nama khusus, dilihat dari bentuk fisiknya yang banyak terdapat setabut seperti rambut, maka sebab itilah di kasih nama Rambut Rambutan, atau di singkat menjadi rambutan.
