The Shampooing Ceremony Part(1)
The shampooing ceremony or Kin-pon-tat Mingala is the cleansing ceremony for physical and mental cleanliness. Having given birth the auspicious day and occasion are selected carefully within two weeks, to hold that ceremony. All the friends and the relatives are invited to the ceremony. The shampooing ceremony is simultaneously followed by the head shaving, the cradle putting, name giving and rice spooning ceremonies.
ကင္ပြန္းတပ္ မဂၤလာ
ကင္ပြန္းတပ္ မဂၤလာဆိုသည္မွာ ကေလးေမြးဖြားၿပီးပါက ထိုကေလးကို ကိုယ္ေရာစိတ္ပါ သန္႔႐ွင္းေအာင္ ေရခ်ိဳးသန္႔စင္ေပးေသာမဂၤလာ ျဖစ္၏။ ကေလးေမြးၿပီးပါက ရက္သတၱတစ္ပတ္ သို႔မဟုတ္ ႏွစ္ပတ္အတြင္း ေန႔ေကာင္းရက္သာေရြး၍ ယင္းမဂၤလာအခမ္းအနားကို က်င္းပသည္။ ထိုအခမ္းအနားတြင္ မိတ္ေဆြအေပါင္းအသင္းမ်ားကိုလည္း ဖိတ္ၾကား၏။ ကင္ပြန္းတပ္ မဂၤလာႏွင့္အတူ ေခါင္းရိတ္မဂၤလာ၊ ပုခက္တင္ မဂၤလာ၊ အမည္ေပး မဂၤလာ၊ ထမင္းခြံ႔ မဂၤလာတို႔ကိုတြဲ၍ ျပဳလုပ္တတ္ၾက၏။
Two offertories, one for the Buddha and one for the parents have been provided at the ceremony.
အခမ္းအနားတြင္ ဘုရားအတြက္ ကန္ေတာ့ပြဲတစ္ပြဲ မိဘႏွစ္ပါးအတြက္ ကန္႔ေတာ့ပြဲတစ္ပြဲ ျပင္ဆင္ထား၏။
Tha- bye-ywet, the Eugenia sprigs and other flowers have been placed in a silver bowl. The Eugenia sprig is the emblem of victory for Myanmar. The home-coming victorious soldiers have been welcomed back by presenting Eugenia sprig.
ထိုေနာက္ ေငြဖလားတစ္လုံးတြင္ သေျပရြက္ႏွင့္ အျခားပန္းမ်ားကို ေဝေဝဆာဆာထည့္ထား၏။ သေျပရြက္သည္ ျမန္မာတို႔ ေအာင္ျမင္ေသာအထိမ္းအမွတ္ျဖစ္ ေဆာင္ရြက္ေသာ အရြက္ျဖစ္၏။ ထိုအရြက္ကို စစ္ထြက္သည့္ ေယာက်္ားမ်ား ေအာင္ပြဲရလာပါက သေျပခက္မ်ားႏွင့္ ႀကိဳေလ့႐ွိ၏။ သေျပပင္ကို အဂၤလိပ္လို Jambol ဟုေခၚ၏။
A plate of turmeric paste smeared rice is also prepared. A bowl of shampoo is provided.
ထိုအျပင္ နႏြင္းလိမ္းထားေသာ ဆန္တစ္ပန္းကန္ကိုလည္း ျပင္ဆင္ထားသည္။ ေခါင္းေလ်ွာ္ရန္ ေခါင္းေလွ်ာ္ရည္က္ိုလည္း ျပင္ထားသည္။
