When in doubt, Rumi
Still mourning the loss of Anthony Bourdain, not so much the chef, as the goodwill ambassador who, with his boundless curiosity, had an ability to connect, on a human level, with others despite cultural differences—qualities that are sorely needed, in the USA & Beyond...
When in doubt, I turn to Rumi to remind me of the way forward. Here, are some illuminating quotes:
Don’t grieve. Anything you lose comes round in another form.
Maybe you are searching among the branches, for what only appears in the roots.
The wound is where the light enters you.
When you notice a fault in your neighbor, search for the same in yourself.
What you seek is seeking you.
Yesterday I was clever, so I wanted to change the world. Today I am wise, so I am changing myself.
